Cocha patio screens

Create shade and privacy for your patio, courtyard or outdoor room with a made-to-measure Cocha screen. Choose a straight-drop, wire-guided or channel-guided system with manual crank operation.

Cocha mesh screens lowered beside a deck and outdoor living area.

Three ways to suit your opening

Straight Drop manual gearbox and mounting bracket.

Straight Drop

A simple straight-drop screen that anchors at the bottom when lowered and rolls away when not in use.

Wire Guided manual gearbox and wire guide.

Wire Guided

A wire-guided screen that can stop partway down. Choose floor brackets or L brackets to suit the wire fixing surfaces.

Channel Guided manual gearbox and side channel.

Channel Guided

Side channels give a more enclosed finish. The channels need straight, parallel fixing faces on both sides of the opening.

Made in New Zealand for courtyards, sheltered retreats and outdoor living spaces. Choose the fixing style that suits your structure, then configure your screen below.

Choose with confidence

Your configuration, explained

Fabric and frame colour

Choose from eight ShadeView Classic mesh colours using the fabric swatches below. This open-weave fabric provides shade while allowing airflow and a view outside. Choose Satin Black or Pearl White for the metal frame. Swatches are a guide; colours can look different on your screen.

Back Roll as standard

Back Roll brings the fabric down on the fixing side of the roller, closer to the structure. It is preselected for every system and required for Wire Guided and Channel Guided. Straight Drop also offers Front Roll, which brings the fabric down on the outer side of the roller where more clearance is needed.

Top cover

Choose no cover for an exposed roller, or a 135 mm flashing cut to the screen width to cover the top.

Weather strip

The optional 100 mm weather strip is fitted at the bottom of the screen. Check the lower fixing surface and any gap before choosing it. Mesh and a weather strip do not make the opening watertight.

Wire-guide bottom fittings

For Wire Guided, choose floor brackets when fixing to a suitable horizontal surface, or L brackets when the fixing needs to turn onto a vertical face. Both sides need secure fixing points with a clear path for the wires. This choice is not needed for the other systems.

Crank side, colour and length

A removable manual crank is included. Choose left or right while facing the screen from the side you will operate it. Handles come in Black, Grey or White, in lengths of 800, 1200, 1600, 1800, 2000 or 2400 mm. Choose a length you can comfortably reach and leave room to turn and remove it.

Build your manual Cocha screen

Measure the width at the top, middle and bottom, then measure the drop. Enter one Width and one Drop in millimetres. The online range covers openings from 500 × 500 mm to 4500 × 3000 mm. If the width readings differ, send us your measurements and photos before ordering.

Choose ShadeView Classic fabric, a Satin Black or Pearl White frame, your system and crank details. A crank handle is included. Check which side you want the crank on while facing the side you will operate it from.

Plan the fixings before ordering

The supporting structure must be suitable for the screen and its exposure. Decide where the top brackets, bottom anchors, wires or channels will fix. Check obstructions, drainage and access to the crank handle. Read the measuring guide before taking final dimensions.

Mesh provides shade and privacy while allowing airflow. It does not make an outdoor area weatherproof. Retract the screen in unsuitable weather and follow the supplied operating and care instructions.
